Elizabeth Dinnar's brother John Thomas Dinnar married Annie Louise Tapsell.



Their daughter Alwyn Grace Dinnar married Neville Francis Sellwood, [a famous jockey who died as a result of a race fall in Paris] a descendant of the Maryborough Sellwoods.



Although both Sellwood families originated in England, no tangible link has been found. However the Dinnars have created a distant but genuine connection.

Stewart, Caroline Madeline (b. 1815, d. Dec 1886)
Note: Family History files contain a copy of a letter dated 17 November 1978 from G.N.Stewart of Woollarah NSW to W.R.Neale of Allora Qld. In it is written that -



"Caroline Stewart was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1815. Her father, Major General Stewart, came to Australia first in 1825 as Lieutenant Governor...... In 1837 Caroline married a cousin, Captain Donald Stewart, who was in the army in India. In
1844 he was killed in battle and Caroline came back to her parents in Bathurst......



"About 1845 Caroline married Charles Henry Green ......Caroline had a brother James......her sister Elizabeth married the Presbyterian clergyman at Bathurst, K.D.Smythe,[he was Officiating Minister at Caroline's marriage] and later moved to
Scotland.....her second sister Letitia married David Kennedy, manager of a bank in Bathurst......I understand Caroline had no children [to either husband]."



At 1881 Census Caroline M.Green was living at Aratrum Villa, Andover, Hampshire and had two servants - a 40 year old female cook and a 17 year old housemaid.



Caroline Magdeline Green, aged 71 years, died at Andover during the quarter ended December 1886.

Searching ancestry.co.uk shows Caroline M.Green born 1818 BS Canada, residing 1881 at Aratrum Villa, Ventnor, Hampshire, source 1881 census. Also appearing is Caroline Madeline Green born about 1815, died December 1886 Andover, Hampshire,
source BMD 1837-1983.

Note: The only child of Charles Henry and Marguerite Susan Green, born at Andover, Hampshire, on 12 August 1891. His mother died intestate in 1927 while living in St Leonards on Sea, Sussex. Letters of Administration awarded 1729 pounds to Charles
Murnin Green, her "lawful son and only person entitled to the estate". He was described as brewer's manager, Flat 1, 15 Bolton Road, Eastbourne, Sussex [a little west of St leonards on Sea].
